Description
The miracle of life seen in an iris pushing up to the light. With some added effects with various textures and filters, a bright place of hope fills a room.
A number of bearded iris varieties bloom from early spring to early summer. Among beardless irises, many varieties in the Spuria subgroup bloom from late spring to midsummer. Some Siberian iris (Iris sibirica) and Japanese iris (I. ensata) selections bloom from mid-spring to early summer.Beautify your summer table with bouquets of summer perennials mixed with reblooming Iris!
Remontancy, though, is NOT guaranteed. It is often dependent on geographic location, climate conditions and cultural practices. Rebloom may vary from year to year, as well. The varieties pictured below have been registered with the American Iris Society as having been bred to produce bloom stocks more than once in a year (first in the spring, and then again in the late summer or fall).
