December 31st, in a frozen mist by the North Thompson River, inviting scenarios play out in artistic ways with edgy flairs. The memory of my freezing toes matches the scene outside here - frozen - yet strangely beautiful. It's all worth it because I remembered hot chocolate would be waiting at home ! Not to mention the freshly made home made home grown chicken, chicken soup and corn bread waiting for us as a New Year's Eve simple yet hearty winter supper. So all of that is behind this, and I do love barn doors, any time of the year!
